Autonomous power
Local power security. Built for every cage.
PowerGuard is developed to secure stable and continuous operation of critical electrical systems installed directly on each cage.
The system uses a distributed, cage-mounted and autonomous three-phase power and control architecture that maintains power supply if external power is lost.
By placing energy reserve and control locally on each cage, every cage functions as an electrically independent energy cell.
This keeps underwater lights, cameras, communication and other critical electronics running without interruption, while reducing the risk that faults in one system affect multiple cages.
System modules
A distributed architecture for local backup power
PowerGuard Hub
Intake cabinet that receives power from an external source and distributes it further through the system.
PowerGuard Mega
Robust power supply platform with integrated energy reserve that automatically maintains operation when ordinary power supply fails.
PowerGuard Extender
Optional battery capacity module connected to PowerGuard Mega to increase energy reserve and extend backup runtime.
Key functions
Designed for critical marine operations
Distributed power per cage
Each cage works as an independent electrical energy cell, reducing central single points of failure.
Uninterrupted operation
Battery-based operation takes over automatically within milliseconds when external power is lost.
Intelligent light control
With Havida Sense PDU and Solaris lights, brightness is automatically reduced during backup operation.
Continuous monitoring
Cameras, sensors and communication equipment remain operational during power loss.
Marine-ready design
Built for direct installation on cages in demanding aquaculture environments.
Why PowerGuard?
Every cage becomes its own energy cell.
PowerGuard gives modern aquaculture sites stable lighting, better operational security and continuous access to monitoring and control — even when external power is lost.
